The British School of watchmaking team

The core teaching staff at the British School of Watchmaking consist of Alan burtoft and Tom Keegan.

Head Lecturer Alan Burtoft

Alan has a very long and distigushed watchmaking career which first started back in the 1960's. He has worked for may prestigeous watch and jewellery companies spanning over 40 years. He is considered one of the finest and most experience operative watchmakers within the UK.

The BSoW are proud to have Alan as part of our teaching team.

Lecturer - Tom Keegan

Lecturer Tom Keegan

Having a Father in the jewellery trade inspired Tom at an early age the interest in this field.  A Youth Training Scheme course in horology and engineering field followed. Leaving college after qualification commenced work as a watchmaker and progressed to Deputy Area Workshops Manager for a major retail group responsible for approximately twenty workshops. 

The BSoW team are delighted that Tom has recently joined the school teaching staff.
